Synopsis

Terry Gilliam's acclaimed, surrealistic, nightmare vision of a "perfect" future where technology reigns supreme. Spectacular set design, this wildly visual treat stars Jonathan Pryce (as the "Everyman"), with a supporting cast of Robert De Niro and Michael Palin. A chilling black comedy, where 1984 meets A Clockwork Orange, with a script by Tom Stoppard. Terry Gilliam---Great Britain/USA---1986---131 mins.

This is not Gilliam's cut of this movie. I think this is the "happy ending" version that shows up on TV sometimes. It's worth seeing for the complete experience, but watch the 142 minute complete version first.
